With nine layouts and options for two or four berths, there is plenty of choice when it comes to finding a Merlin to suit your adventures.

And with prices starting from £64,190 OTR, the Merlin makes Swift’s campervan experience more accessible while still offering an impressive specification as standard.

A campervan designed around the way you travel

One of the biggest attractions of the new Swift Merlin is the choice available across the range.

The nine layouts include the Merlin 112, 212, 122, 144, 244, 164, 264, 174 and 274, with different configurations designed to prioritise sleeping space, living space or storage. For those who love bringing bikes, outdoor equipment and plenty of adventure gear along for the journey, selected Merlin layouts feature generous garage storage beneath high-level beds. The Merlin 112 and 212, for example, provide a large rear storage area, while the 164 and 264 offer an even larger load area.

Meanwhile, layouts such as the 122 feature a rear wrap-around lounge, giving you a welcoming space to relax once you arrive at your destination.

For those looking to travel with family or friends, four-berth layouts are available, with selected models featuring Swift’s new elevating roof system. This clever pop-top design provides an additional double bed, helping to maximise the space available inside the campervan without increasing its footprint on the road.

Comfort wherever the road takes you

Step inside the Merlin and it is clear that Swift has focused on creating a comfortable and practical environment.

The interior features a stylish Sangallo Elm furniture finish, complemented by Tora Tela and Grau décor. Charcoal soft furnishings use stain-resistant, easy-to-clean fabrics, while the Mill Oak Grege vinyl flooring adds a contemporary finish. There is also plenty of natural light thanks to the double-glazed windows and skylights, while LED lighting throughout the interior creates a warm and inviting atmosphere when the sun goes down.

Sleeping comfort is also well catered for, with selected layouts featuring exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Alto mattresses, designed with a platinum support layer and reflex foam.

Everything you need for life on tour

The Merlin isn’t simply somewhere to sleep – it is designed to give you many of the comforts of home while you’re away.

The kitchen features a Dometic two-burner stainless steel hob and sink, complete with glass lids, alongside a built-in flatbed microwave oven. Depending on the layout, there is also either a 50-litre or 80-litre Dometic compressor fridge. A fold-away kitchen worktop extension provides additional preparation space when you need it, while clever storage solutions help make the most of the available interior space.

There is even a dedicated washroom, featuring a shower tray, foldaway washbasin, shower mixer and Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush – ideal for adding extra convenience to longer trips and overnight stays.

Lithium power comes as standard

Another particularly exciting feature of the 2027 Swift Merlin is its new 100Ah lithium leisure battery, fitted as standard. Lithium technology offers a number of advantages, including lower weight, faster charging and a longer lifespan. The system is also compatible with solar charging, making it a great companion for those who want to spend more time away from traditional campsites and enjoy a little more freedom when travelling.

The Merlin also features a new 4-inch colour LCD control panel, allowing owners to monitor and manage key onboard systems, including battery levels, power usage, lighting, water levels and temperature.

Heating is provided by a Whale underfloor 6kW heating system, with an 8-litre water heating system helping to keep things comfortable whatever the weather.

Built for the journey

Underneath the Merlin is a Fiat Ducato base vehicle, powered by a Euro 6Ebis 2.2-litre 140bhp engine with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The cab is equipped with features designed to make longer journeys more comfortable, including automatic air conditioning, cruise control, a 10-inch HD touchscreen, digital dashboard, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, Bluetooth and a wireless phone charger.

For those who prefer an automatic gearbox, a factory-fitted upgrade to the 140bhp engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission is also available.
