Yes we do! We offer all Swift motorhome ranges, as well as all the Swift campervan ranges. Please note the ranges/models available potentially change each year according to the manufacturer.
Quick answer, Yes, you need a valid TV license to watch TV in your motorhome. However, whether you need to purchase an additional licence depends on your viewing situation.
If you already have a TV licence registered at your home address, you don’t need a second one for your motorhome, as long as you ensure that you aren’t watching TV in both locations at the same time. If there’s a chance that someone is watching TV at home while you are using your motorhome, you will need to obtain a second licence.
When connected to a mains hook-up, you can use standard household appliances like kettles, toasters, microwaves, and televisions. However, ensure that your motorhome’s electrical system can handle the load of any appliances you plan to use to avoid tripping circuit breakers.
The amount you can carry depends on your motorhome’s Maximum Permissible Mass (MPM) and the weight of the vehicle when loaded. Generally, you should not exceed the manufacturer’s specified weight limits to ensure safe driving and avoid penalties. If you are unsure on this, please check your owner’s manual.
For most motorhomes under 3.5 tonnes, a standard Category B driving licence is sufficient. If your motorhome exceeds this weight, you may need a Category C1 licence.
